How do you find and keep incredible staff in a growing business?
A flexible and diverse workforce can be one of the most valuable assets of any growing business. In this short session, Resource Harbour will explain the business benefits of a diverse and flexible workforce, how to achieve it and dispel some of the myths around the overheads and costs of flexible working in professional roles.
Resource Harbour covers finance, sales and marketing, and IT & tech in our recruitment business – recruitment with a difference. We specialise in helping businesses in the South West open up their roles to a more diverse workforce, often via flexibility (and we don’t just mean part-time). The business benefits of diversity and flexibility range from resolving recruitment problems around hard to fill or budget-constrained roles, through to staff retention. We are different from standard recruitment businesses, as our network includes talented local professionals who would not be reached on traditional job boards, from back to work parents through to phased retirees.
Entrepreneurs’ Network events are offered by Start and Grow Enterprise, a University of Gloucestershire project with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Start and Grow Enterprise supports the growth of Gloucestershire-based entrepreneurs and start-ups (trading up to 3 years) through free training, events, networks and resources.
