Our free Entrepreneurs’ Network Event runs monthly and is aimed at Gloucestershire-based entrepreneurs and SMEs. Each month, we feature a different guest speaker and a change in theme.

These brilliant networking events offer a chance to gain valuable tips and insights from professionals and experts, and other start-ups and entrepreneurs.

You’ll connect and share skills, and hear about the support available to your new or growing business from Start and Grow Enterprise, University of Gloucestershire, and more.

Venue

This festive networking event will be held in person at The Growth Hub in Gloucester.

This networking event is held on the first floor of The Growth Hub in Gloucester; a centre of support and learning for growing businesses, based at Oxstalls Campus at the University of Gloucestershire.

This venue is fully accessible. Light refreshments are provided (expect mince pies galore!), and parking is available on-site (for £2.55 for the day by card). *Please let us know of any dietary requirements at least 5 days in advance of the event by emailing startandgrow@glos.ac.uk.*

We’re excited to be joined by Geoff Burch at this month’s festive networking event.  An inspirational speaker who has a genuine in-depth understanding of business has made Geoff one of the most respected authorities speaking today.
A best-selling author and business guru, Geoff has been voted ‘Business Communicator of the Year’ by the UK Speechwriters’ Guild and is considered to be one of Europe’s most exciting and motivational business experts.

Victoria Fairbank – Fairbank Design

Victoria Fairbank is the Creative Director of the Cheltenham-based design studio Fairbank Design. She has a wealth of experience in the design industry offering branding, graphic design and digital marketing services. Victoria believes every business deserves to profit from professional design services, helping them stand out from the crowd.

Victoria established Fairbank Design just over two years ago and will be sharing the lessons learnt in her business journey, along with some branding tips for success!

Qwerty Beer Box 

QWERTY Beer Box started during the first lockdown 2.5 years ago as a way to champion the struggling local breweries they loved. They curated independent craft beer hampers focused on the gifting market and sold them online, since they‘ve launched they‘ve sold over 100,000 beers, worked with over 80 breweries and had a barrel of laughs along the way.  

Sian Millet

Sian Millett is passionate about garden landscaping and planting. Having recognized a gap in the market, she’s building a business from scratch to sell cost effective, off-the-shelf, landscape designs. She’d like to share her journey and will be demonstrating the e-shop website.  

Entrepreneurs’ Network events are offered by Start and Grow Enterprise, a University of Gloucestershire project with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Start and Grow Enterprise supports the growth of Gloucestershire-based entrepreneurs and start-ups (trading up to 3 years) through free training, events, networks, and resources.
