Details of this month’s speaker…
Peter Miller, Moonfire Ltd.
To paraphrase an old expression “Everyone has an App in them”, but where do you start?
The talk will be about my personal journey from having an idea for an App, to having it downloadable from the Apple Store.
It appears that everyone I mention my App to, has an idea for an App themselves, but hardly anyone gets them built. What is that?
This talk will reflect on my experience of undertaking that challenge for my app My Locket, what I’ve learned along the way and what advice I would give to anyone thinking about starting it or trying again. Over 30 years of experience in the IT sector helped me avoid some of the pitfalls that claim so many great ideas.
Entrepreneurs’ Network events are offered by Start and Grow Enterprise, a University of Gloucestershire project with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Start and Grow Enterprise supports the growth of Gloucestershire-based entrepreneurs and start-ups (trading up to 3 years) through free training, events, networks, and resources.
