Entrepreneurs’ Network Event – February – Student start-ups
February 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Our Start and Grow Enterprise Entrepreneurs’ Network events run monthly, from 5.30-7.30pm, for Gloucestershire based entrepreneurs and SMEs. We feature a different guest speaker with a different focus each time. This month’s event is based on student start-ups, including an inspiring story from recent University of Gloucestershire graduates.
These brilliant events offer a chance to gain valuable tips and insights from other start-ups and entrepreneurs.
You’ll connect and share skills, and hear about the support available to your new or growing business from Start and Grow Enterprise, University of Gloucestershire, and more.
Refreshments are provided, and parking is available on-site (for £2 for the day by card).
**This event will be filmed by Martin Carter, Director at eventshare.tv. Please notify a member of staff before the event begins, or email firstname.lastname@example.org, if you would prefer not to be included in the video footage**
Details of this month’s speakers
Kieran and Luke, Directors of Phoenix Consultants Gloucestershire Ltd.
These UoG graduates turned business owners will be telling us all about their start-up journey, from their first steps with their business idea as second-year students to where they are now – Directors of Phoenix Consultants Gloucestershire Ltd.
Phoenix Consultants Gloucestershire Ltd specialises in providing design support for businesses looking to innovate in Product Design, Brand Building and Product Ecosystems.
Kieran and Luke will also explain how Start and Grow Enterprise helped them – they were skilled in design but didn’t have a background in business, and the courses gave them a good understanding of the steps they needed to take to launch a viable business.
Entrepreneurs’ Network events are offered by Start and Grow Enterprise, a University of Gloucestershire project with funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Start and Grow Enterprise supports the growth of Gloucestershire-based entrepreneurs and start-ups (trading up to 3 years) through free training, events, networks and resources.
