Online: Understanding Business Finances – February 2023

In this introduction to business finances, we will look at the different company structures and what these mean to you, your business, and the implications of each one. We will go into the basics of bookkeeping and the importance of keeping good up-to-date records and what expenses can be claimed.

We will talk through the importance of a cash flow plan and the planning potential and insights a cash flow plan provides. We will also take a look at the differing bookkeeping options available and how long basic spreadsheets can be used before moving digital is required.

This workshop is ideal for those who are just starting up in their business, and for sole traders who are within their first year of trading. If you’re setting up or currently running a limited company, take a look at our GROW level finance workshop.
